Ladies using iPad

I spotted two ladies using iPads on the MRT train and finger drew both of them on my iPad. They were so attentive that did not even notice the person sitting in front of them was drawing about them. I tried different brushes for these two sketches. The one using fine ink pen looks a bit plain after sketching the lady. I decided to colour the lady and add more people into the picture.

Bollywood Lady 2

Another drawing of charming Bollywood lady. This time my focus is to try to give a real look of those gems. It is really fun to draw her accessories. I can really design how the accessories look like. When I was drawing, I tried to make her sari and accessories as colourful as possible but also kept in my mind that all colors used must coordinate with one another. Please note that the colour of gems on her earring and ring and also her necklace and the edge of her sari.

Last but not least, this picture was done by stylus.

Bollywood Lady 1

I downloaded a new drawing app last week and I was trying to draw an Indian lady after watching a Bollywood movie. I love the brilliant colour combination of her scarf. And you guess right, this picture was not done by my finger but stylus. :)

I have also uploaded how this picture was done. I was quite satisfied with the final product as it is my very first pice of portrait. Let me know if you like it. :)
