Finger Food 3 (Oriental Flavours - Xiao Long Bao)

Ding Tai Fung is well known by its Xiao Long Bao. Xiao Long Bao is a type of steamed bun from Eastern China. It is traditionally steamed in small bamboo baskets, or Xiao Long in Chinese. Xiao Long Bao is often translated as soup dumplings or simply dumplings in English media. However, soup dumpling is more likely to be understood by a Chinese speak as Jiao Zi or even Wontons which are usually served in soup. Since the translation is very confusing and misleading, some people would rather just call it Xiao Long Bao as in Chinese.
